So, during a divorce my wife found out that my roommate, my sister, we made a deal in lue of rent I'd burrow her car, if she stayed long enough and got to 5k the car would be mine. Since the divorce happened, that arrangement no longer works, she has to pay 1/3 mortgage for a house. So we canceled the deal since it was no longer available. Wife is know demanding back pay on rent, said she never agreed to said deal. She only asked how much I said 5k.

I did not put down the burrowed car in assets, since it's not mine, I do not have a title for said car. If she moved out before 5k car would be hers as we agreed

I know it's a weird one and can't find any advice online about it. What do all think about this? Or am I just trying to get myself into legal trouble over a cheap car lol
