One thing that bothered me a lot about the red pill was the appeal to evolution fallacy. A lot of the RPers make blanket statements like “men evolved to this...,” and “women evolved to do that...” It’s hard to prove claims like that and one could use the whole appeal to evolution to support a wide range of ideas, often contradictory. For example, I could say: Women evolved to be docile to attract masculine men and produce offspring.

I could also say: Women evolved to be strong and independent to protect themselves from predators and protect their offspring.

I don’t really see how they can support claims just by saying a group of people “evolved” to be a certain way.
