What you are seeing is people searching for identity.

Eventually we grow up, get lives, get hurt, get bent, get jaded.... And we realize that life isn't as neatly packaged as we thought at 18. People, no matter the gender, are good, bad, indifferent. There is no universality.

As far as relationships... Learn to get hurt gracefully. Learn to pick better partners by picking lots of friends. The diversity will give you more experience at reading people than a book will. Lol

What you are describing is not some hidden truth that redpill beliefs have revealed to the word. You’re just expressing standard insecurities combined with a perspective on relationships based more on media representation of relationships rather than what they’re actually like. The vast majority of romantic relationships don’t fall into either the “only together for money” camp or the “married your high school sweetheart for 55 years” camp. Both are possible, but neither are the norm.

The simple fact is that relationships are going to take work. Redpill takes a basic notion, “work on yourself,” and infuses it with a bunch of ridiculous nonsense about how women are shallow, only looking for sex or money, and about how you should try to beat them at the game. As long as you’re looking at relationships as a competition to win rather than something to work on together with someone you care about, the odds of you being in a healthy, happy relationship are slim.

Yes, frist off you must understand brain development. You, and everyone your age, aren’t operating on a fully developed system just yet. Around 25-30 (as long as drugs or trauma doesn’t get in the way) your brain will make its final stage of development. Currently when you experience stimulus it goes from your nervous system to your amygdala/limbic system and reaches your neocortex last. Meaning you respond emotionally before rationally. After this last stage stimulus bypasses the amygdala/limbic systems and goes to the neocortex frist and then back to the amygdala/limbic systems. Meaning you can actually react rationally frist (this all happens in millionths of a second). Also before this stage all people are more impulsive and self centered. This is why 95% of high school romances don’t last. Your brain isn’t ready because that kind of commitment takes a level of maturity most don’t have yet.

Also evolutionary psychology is bullshit. The psychologist who cane up with it knows NOTHING about anthropology and no actual anthropologist would make such bold claims that they know how our ancestors thought process. Shit the real psychologists I work with also think evolutionary psychology is bullshit pseudoscience. It is completely discounted by neuroplasticity. We can evolve our own brain ourselves but you actually believe we haven’t in thousands of years??

As much as everybody wants you to believe this, life is not a competition. It's not a race where if you don't get a nice car and if you are not jacked as shit you can't succeed in life. This is how a dog would see life. "if i behave well, people will recognize me". It's not how it works at all. People in trp have the logic of "i have done this for her, and i got nothing back = women suck". Nobody owes you anything. People got to learn to be themselves and find somebody who suits them.

People in general like self confidence. Not only women. If you think women want some chad you're delusional. Everybody wants to be with someone who is at ease with him/herself, because they are the one who succeed better in being themselves in every occasion. That attracts people. Its not some charisma on command shit, you don't need to learn it, just do things you enjoy and don't regret not doing something else. When you'll stop caring about what women like/don't like and be simply yourself, you'll find somebody guaranteed.

As someone else mentioned, red pill only teaches you how to get dysfunctional women and have a dysfunctional relationship. Healthy women who are capable of having legitimate healthy relationships will see right through that bullshit and run for the hills.

Yes there are some women who only want men for their wealth and status. Some of those include psychopaths and narcissists who are just looking to use men, women who are so damaged they don't believe in love (think the woman equivalent of a red piller), or someone who's too immature to know better. So yes, it's true that they do exist, but they are very much a minority, and to think that those are the only types of women in the world is dumb.

In terms of a relationship, red pill advocates for manipulating your partner, which only works on women who already have issues, or even if you manage to attain a healthy one, red pill metholody abuses and damages the woman until she does have issues. Either way, by following redpill methodology, you will never be in a healthy, mutually respectful relationship with love, trust, and understanding. That's just not possible when the whole relationship is a giant mind game to make sure you come out on top.

Basically, red pill is a cult, and as with all cults, it tries to wire you to have their worldview and beliefs so they can say more ridiculous shit to you and you will just take it as truth. Run away while you still can - if you think anything they're preaching about women makes sense, you're halfway into getting into a cult that will only lead you to misery.

Its not 'wrong', its just only good for dysfunctional relationships. Thats whats wrong with it.

If you're a dysfunctional man who wants sexual validation from dysfunctional women, then the red pill has good advice.

But emotionally healthy women with high RMV generally don't go for red pill tactics. It creates a cycle where you chase after damaged women with low RMV, end up miserable and then say "AWALT" while ignoring the fact that you've been chasing shitty women for sexual validation rather than chasing emotionally healhty women for meaningful relationships.

If all you want is sexual validation from damaged and deranged women, TRP has lots of good advice.

Also some of TRP and Rollos advice is very good. The evo psych stuff, Rollos stages a woman goes through (like the epiphany phase, I see that a lot IRL).

But I wish there was a subreddit devoted to using evolutionary psych and info like Rollos to pursue meaningful relationships rather than sexual validation.

There are many books on evolutionary psychology as it relates to mating you can read other than red pill. David Buss has written several, and there are lots of scientific papers out there too. If you want advice on the psychology of mating, it is out there without the dysfunction in TRP.

The fact that people factor in whether they are attracted to someone, or whether they would be dirt poor =/= a bizarre social darwinist understanding of the world where that is all that people care about which somehow means that you should act selfish at all times. Those former things are things everyone knows, but which they pretend only they know, and exaggerate a ton.

I know my words are no proof at all, but when i met my ex he lived with his mum, and had just lost his job. I payed 70-80 percent of our rent for all 4 years we lived together, because he was building his carreer. I also did basically everything that had to be done around the house (both cleaning and maintenance) and didn't feel like he was willing to give me the same emotional supporti was giving him.

I broke up with him right after his career started to take off, even though at that point he was able and willing to pay half the rent (and more), because the change i was hoping for never came. Only money, which isn't something i need from a partner.
