Like Sadia, my heritage is also South Asian. As a Desi woman I can give some insight into her particular style of grifting.

First off, her family hails from POK, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, particularly Mirpur. What's unique about Mirpur you might ask? Are any of you familiar with the "grooming gang scandals" in the UK? Mirpuri migrant men are overrepresented in those crimes. That means Sadia, as a Mirpuri Britisher, grew up surrounded by this particular demographic of men. Imagine what that does to a little girl's psyche.

Secondly, she's Muslim, brags about it online, yet very openly living a "haram" lifestyle which brings lots of judgement, condemnation, even death threats from the ummah.

Thirdly, there's a lot of pressure in South Asian families to be high achieving in academia and professional career. She never got there. That's why she had to come up with an online grift.

Fourthly, there's a lot of pressure in South Asian families to marry and have kids by a certain age. Sadia is way past that age and doesn't have either one of those milestones.

Someone told me that Sadia's IG says that she's doing a meetup this month (September), I think in the UK. I think her being there will depend on how far these 'rumors' about her have spread, but I think it would be best if she went to the meetup and got confronted publicly about these 'allegations'. Keeping my fingers crossed on that one.
