So I have this friend who I thought had a HV boyfriend. But yesterday he was cussing her out because she quit her job due to the stress and harassment was there but had another job lined up and I was shocked because I didn't expect that from him. Anyways I told her he needs to stop that or you need to break this off. She called the next day and I was like how is douchebag and she laughed and basically said everything was fine. Then made excuses like oh he had a long day at work and I cut her off and I was I don't care that was messed up what he did and then she messaged me bringing up my dirt about a guy who played the hell out of me like "WHO ARE YOU TO TALK WHEN X GOT YOUR PREGNANT, YOU MISCARRIED AND HE LEFT YOU?? MY MAN WOULD NEVER DO THAT." I was so hurt because I was defending her and that was a traumatic event that really made me change my perspective on men and made me trust less.

She also brought up her man messaged another girl on her bday asking her what she's doing and I remember telling her she was so beautiful and smart and talented and he's a boring Midwestern man who is lucky to have you, because WE are the prize. Appearently she didn't like that I said that about him well sorry but he did something innapropriate what am I supposed to say? Am I the asshole?
