I don't see any issue if you keep it casual and remain focused on your goals (going back to uni). But your goals have to come first. If you think you're going to get so emotionally invested that he will stand in your way, break it off sooner.

Men string us along all the time. If you're happy having him around, I don't see the problem. But you also need to be able to be happy alone without needing a man as a crutch. If you don't work on this you could latch on to the next guy you don't see a real future with. You can't find the right one if you won't let the wrong ones go.

better to be alone than with the wrong person. use the time you spend with him working on your own goals and bettering yourself!
