Men have always been bigger gold diggers than women but because they limited our educational and career prospects for so long throughout history they haven’t been able to fully indulge on that (#misogynyproblems amirite) but I know without a doubt that now that more and more women are becoming more educated and out earning their male counterparts men will become more open about being gold diggers. In fact I can guarantee that they’ll start making jokes about women paying alimony. Way to go male gender, you complain about supporting women when you guys were keeping us from supporting ourselves and then you brag about being gold diggers when the scales finally even out. And their supposed to be the logical and mature gender?

Never understood dowry... you pay a man to become his slave?? Then of course it led to extreme misogyny and female infanticide...because who wants to raise a daughter just to pay another family to take her...girls are "burdens". But in cultures where the man has to pay for his bride, sons aren't seen as a burden and sons aren't killed at birth...hmmm....

Imagine trusting a man to safeguard your valuables for you. My recently-ex husband spent my stimulus check that he’d “kept aside” for me. Didn’t even try to account for what he’d done with it. Well. He didn’t spark joy anyway, so I had to Marie Kondo him. I’ll never let a man touch my valuables again.
