I had a (rather surprising) dream last night where I started dating a former boss-of-a-boss. I realized he is the type of man I am looking for: educated, well spoken, active (bikes and runs), family man (married with kids and from a big family), accomplished, driven, travels, etc. I’m thinking of messaging Holland asking him if he has any HVM single friends living in my area that he could connect me too.

A few things to note:

He was never my direct supervisor (my supervisor reported to him).

We both left the company about five years ago.

He is married (according to Facebook), he was married when we worked together - I am not hitting on HIM.

He lived in my town for about six years (while he was working for the company).

He moved away about five years ago.

I just want to make it clear that I’m not asking him out or anything, he’s married first of all, even if he was single he doesn’t live nearby anyway, and asking him out isn’t following FDS. I was cheated on by my ex-husband and would never do that to another woman.
