Do you think that the mindset “boys will be boys” keeps women and men both not expecting much from men and therefore men don’t expect more of themselves?

I just feel like somewhere there has to be some philosophy as to why men are not fulfilling and reaching their full capabilities.

I can say that I have met a few high-value men but I know lots and lots and lots of high-value women so I just find a different interesting that there’s this huge gap like this.
