Just adding some context: I was in a really bad relationship for the past 1.5 years. It was an LDR and that guy was cheating, gaslighting, pressuring me to have sex (I am a virgin), constantly trying to put me down etc. I tried walking away so many times and everytime I would let him back in, only to get hurt again. Now, I have finally broken up with him last Saturday - while talking to him on the phone I just realized that this guy has just drained me of every good thing and is so toxic. I think my therapist, FDS and FLUS helped a lot. I am doing well in my career but I struggle with low self esteem and body image issues. Have been working with a therapist on this. She has asked me to see people casually to break the previous relationship addiction. I dont use dating Apps and where I live dating is still looked down upon. Remote work has further taken a toll on me as I don't get to leave the house that much. I am paying off my debts and focusing on saving and that too has been hard. Most of my friends are married with kids and I have also lost a support system because they keep pointing out how I need to get married as I have turned 30. I feel so lost. Besides therapy, how do I work on self love, self esteem and self acceptance? How do I undo the damage that relationship did? I constantly feel like an imposter despite doing well in my career.
