So, so so refreshing. Finding a man like this after so many LVM for so long was a breath of fresh air. I was finally being listened to and someone actually paid attention to my interests.

Husband knows that I am super into ice hockey and have been for my entire life. He planned and executed a trip to go visit the hall of fame in Toronto: I was flabbergasted. He also knows I’m into antiquing and finding strange old things - every time we travel anywhere he looks up where the best antique stores are and sets aside some to walk through one 😭

I was with my bf for maybe a month when he heard my favorite band was going to be playing in the city. A few days later he texts me a confirmation of the special VIP package he bought for me, just because. And he said he didn’t assume that I would be taking him, that I could take whoever I wanted. Just one of the many reasons I always tell him he’s the best. They’re rare but the HVM are out there, so stay strong and be patient ladies.
