Oh, God.

I have known so many of these quote unquote soft men. So very, very many. And I have been the dumbass girl trying to be their friend--aka, their unpaid therapist-- while they do /nothing/ to improve.

That's what that sending that article is about. Find a 'diagnosis', fixate on it, do no work. Expect everyone else around you to hold your hand because you're a poor sensitive baby, instead of acting like a fucking adult like the rest of us and pursuing actual help to engage with the world in a healthy manner.

I wasted so much emotional energy trying to pull male friends up. So, so much. Never again. Never.

Yeah, sure, it's great and sooo special to be a Highly Sensitive Male, but when he uses his own supposed sensitivity to justify another man's mistreatment of that man's wife....uh, what? How? That tells me this dipshit will latch onto literally any excuse that allows men to go on mistreating women.
