I'm trying to focus on leveling up, got out of a bad situation and I'm now looking at doing some courses through the job centre to bump up my experience. Despite having a PC my partner bursts into anger whenever I mention having to ask the job centre for PC use because he won't set it up, he then sulkily yells "well just fucking use mine then" and then .....won't set it up, and goes ballistic if I ask. I have PCOS and he half heartedly offers to help me cook food, knowing full well most of it is a one person job, and he expects me to make every single cup of coffee or tea that we drink, he's been yelling at me more and more recently, if I so much as trip over something I get a lecture about being careless, we have been together six years and this has been going on two weeks now, last night he woke me up to shout I was selfish, pathetic and that he should go sleep on a sofa somewhere because I was "refusing" to sort out my snoring so he could sleep, I literally asked him to order some snoring aids that day. I ended up self harming a few days ago because of how awful he's being (I have PSTD from an abusive father) and he hasn't relented or tried to calm himself down in the slightest, he refuses to talk to anyone about it, and living together (UK) we have a joint benefit claim and all the money goes into his account. It feels like he doesn't want me to do this course because then I won't be inside all day for him to yell at and get food from, and that he thinks if I have my own money I'll leave, which tbh I would. I have no family I can stay with, no friends except for on the other side of the country, and not s penny to my name, I'm worried if he doesn't let up I'm going to accidentally kill myself, when I told him that and that he needed to calm down a bit he called me ridiculous and said I was blaming everything on him. Some advice on how to get through the next few weeks would be great, my friend is sending me a laptop so I can do the courses I need to, and I'm a very smart and capable woman, once I've brushed my experience up to date I know I will get a job, a couple of interviews told me to contact them once I had retrained a little, and as soon as I get a job I can have my own money and leave, I just don't know how to mentally cope in the mean time.
