The worst response to this argument from men that I've witnessed is where they just completely dismiss the reality-based fears that the majority if not all woman report having as being over-reactions and dramatisations.

So I go to renaissance festivals often. And ANYTIME a man has offered me a drink I ask for it unopened. I tell him to his face: I don’t trust you to not drug me. I tell him: I know I’m beautiful. I tell him: my friends know where I am and they expect me to be home tonight. Most men ‘act’ offended but they bring me an unopened can or bottle of beer. They ‘act’ offended that I know I am attractive until no other woman will acknowledge their existence. They ‘think’ that they can get away with what ever bullshit they lay at my feet until I call them on it to their face. SO many times have I had ‘men’ fall over themselves to give me what I want only to walk the fuck away. I know that my experience is very select to ren fests, but I do not shy away from telling ‘men’ I DO NOT TRUST YOU AND I HAVE A SUPPORT SYSTEM IN PLACE. I carry a rape whistle with me and share my location with trusted women in my life and I make sure scrotes know this about me after spending less than 1 min speaking to them. I am not here for you dipshit. I am here to dance around the bonfire on a full moon. You can fuck off and if you don’t, I WILL make you. thank you to the police who are ever present at such event

Many of the ones who are supposedly decent are still too worried about it being "Not all men" to call out the many men who are rotten. For the most part, men really do only care about men.

I don’t even get saying it, like most women know not every man on the planet is evil we are not dumb. But the majority of men we are around we don’t trust and for good reason. We don’t know the guy next to us on the bus is #notallmen or a fucking predator. Maybe if men were more concerned on why that is and did something about it, their ego wouldn’t be so offended every-time a woman feels uncomfortable around them. But again that would mean men would have to admit responsibility and we all know they are not gonna do that.
