Do you believe that likes attract ? I believe in Law of attraction and before I encountered that I thought it was bs. I kid you not, I thought it was weird that I attracted my abusive ex. Then after studying psychology and analyzing situation I’ve been through and the guys I met I realized the guys that were manipulative, I had similarities in some ways. The things I don’t like about myself, I found the exact same thing in them. Like how I used to be so conscious of others perspective and hyper aware and get stressed, guys that were abusive had low self esteem as me. But trying to be someone they’re not while emotionally manipulating and taking genuine people around them.

But the good relationships I had, the things I like about myself, I found the exact same thing in those guys also. And moreover, I wanted to be like them and they motivated me to be better self.

Psychologically they say if you find yourself hating some qualities about other person, it means you have that same qualities in you also.
