I’m honestly like this and I want to change it. Due to my childhood making friends for me is impossible especially in a new country. I’m hoping therapy will help me a bit.

I have a girl group, but we all live in different states now. One is my sister. One is my cousin. One is not related. We talk all the time and always get together on vacation.

Was like this with the only man I fell in love with. I stopped hanging out with ALL my friends pretty much. Now I’ve successfully weeded out all males from my life except family and coworkers. My female relationships are the most important to me now. I’ve realized men just tend to complicate things. Luckily my friends are true OGs who aren’t dramatic. While a lot are pickmeishas, I’ve been able to sway some to GC feminism. 🙌 It’s really been good for my mental health tbh.

My female relationships (with my mom and girlfriends) are my foundation. I talk to my mom and at least a few of my friends everyday. I make time for a girlfriend activity at least once per week. It isn't an "extra" for me, it is mandatory. No man will ever supplant their place in my life.

There are depressingly many women who do not have any female friends. Or no friends at all for that matter. :( The men always have male friends, but the women have no friends at all.
