Tbh I find this kind of cringy.

I don't care if women put effort into their appearance. Sometimes it's for themselves and sometimes it's to attract men. I think neither are bad on its own...

I guess I'm just worried that it is saying that caring about your appearance is the result of capitalism gone wrong or it's a different version of men oppressing women.

And to the extent that you believe it's true for you, it's fine to modify your approach to beauty, if you think you've gone too far, but it's not true for everyone...

Idk I'm worried that stuff that shames the beauty industry gives fodder to people to shame women for caring about their appearance and put effort into it, which is a totally normal thing to do. You're not a slot or whore or a victim being duped for buying lipstick or using heavy eyeliner... Or god forbid grooming your face?
