This reminds me of the story with the forbidden apple in the Bible.

A lot of people equate that apple with sex. In my opinion it was something equal to the dirt that's floating on the net today.

In the story it says, Adam and Eve couldn't look at you straight in the eye after they ate the apple and were suddenly ashamed of their nakedness.

This behavior sounds similar to that of people who consume a lot of negative/perverted material online. The have certain reactions, knowing smirks and looks, ugly curls of the lip when certain trigger words are mentioned in offline conversation.

You suddenly know exactly what they've been consuming and not only that, they've consumed it uncritically and have internalized it.

Those people (often men) are now completely worthless for an actual relationship.

If you can find a man who is still untouched from all this filth that is currently being lapped up by everyone, don't bother playing the lottery. You've used up all your luck, now and forever.

What's the point of watching things that affect you mentally? I even shamelessly block my eyes or fast forward when there is a gruesome murder scene in what I'm watching. If something is disturbing to you and you still press on to watch it when you know it will affect you mentally, what could you possibly gain?
