Thanks FDS!

For a few weeks earlier this year, I dated a guy who’s (say it with me) great. Handsome, smart, fun, interesting. He ended it. I should have walked away then.

The last few months have been me on this self-imposed roller coaster - truly a time wasting endeavor. Deciphering his texts, hanging out and flirting, basically exhibiting peak pickmeisha behavior in the hopes that he’d realized what a fool he’d been! Lol.

Last night we hung out and I learned that there are four other women in my very situation. He dated/was involved with them each, broke it off with them each, and keeps orbiting around them for their attention and affection, while he flirts and texts (breadcrumbs) just enough to keep them intrigued.

He is a time waster! And I fell right into it. It was so eye opening to learn that this is his HABIT. And that he thinks it’s okay - mostly because he doesn’t want to go through the pain of not having these friendships anymore.

Well, he just lost one from his roster. I am so glad to have found this sub. Self-respect FTW.
