I’m a week back on Bumble and my profile says a few words about me and what I have going for me such as my beautiful cat, good career etc. I NEVER tell men I own my own house until I’ve sussed out what they have.

I end it by saying ‘I have a lovely life and it would be good to share it with someone’. Also changed my settings to men who only want relationship and children.

This has been a game changer for me. I have a date with a man next Saturday who offered to drive an hour out of central London to pick me up. He lives in one of the best parts of London and quite frankly I’m so impressed he has a car. Central Londoners don’t have cars. Although I declined, I’m not getting in a strangers car. He’s asked to take me for dinner and has booked a restaurant. I dated for 2 years before this and not one man offered all this up for first date. We would usually go for a drink somewhere between our places of work. Additionally all the men I’m speaking to are being open and communicative, asking questions, remembering details. I think I might be giving off some high standard vibes. Finally 🥴

It's not your profile. It's the vast amount of LVM on dating apps. Keep your profile simple and don't show your body off too much in your pics. Writing things specifically to keep LVM away will also keep the HVM away. One thing you can do, although it barely helps, is choose -looking for monogamy and long term, if those are options. I auto swipe left on men who have non monogamy, hookups, or looking for fun on their profile.

how often do you swipe right? i'd say i swipe right every 2/50 guys tbh. on a good swiping spree maybe that number rises to 7/50. being selective on dating apps really makes the cream rise to the top

100 dates at least with only LVM for me. No HVM. Not convinced they are online. Your power in OLD is not it preventing LVM from contacting you. It is properly vetting them on zoom before the date
