One thing that sticks out to me is how you texted him like all day. I was reading “why men love bitches” and the idea is to make yourself somewhat scarce. Don’t bother with this guy cuz he’s just a pos, but just for future reference, the idea is to leave them wanting more. It also reinforces the idea that you be very involved in your own life:hobbies, friends, personal endeavors so that when you finally text them back it’s because you finally have the time to. That way you’re still prioritizing yourself and keeping contact. Never give a dude all of your time even if you’re into him.

He's really used to doing shit like this and getting away with it. That's why you have to pull yourself out of this typical mindset women have. Firstly, we generally overvalue men which allows them to get away with absolutely insane things. When things go wrong we internalize it and blame ourselves. Men more often externalize things and blame everyone else. He's led on women like this before and used them as jerkoff tools after which they blamed themselves for his behavior and tried to please him instead of telling him to jump in traffic.
