This reminds me of the backstory behind fettuccine alfredo. Alfredo Di Lelio worked in a restaurant in Rome. Around 1908, his wife gave birth to their firstborn, but in her weak state she lost her appetite. Her husband dutifully went to work making different dishes for her, eventually inventing a whole new dish she loved so much that it restored her vigor. She recommended he add it to the restaurant’s menu, it took off, and voila— the world has fettuccine alfredo.

I watch on youtube about one guy keep making kimchi (like in a huge field) for years to try to find the perfect recipe for his wife. Another guy plant flower gardens for his blind wife. When a HVM love you, it is totally a different ballgame.
