Yep. Ok Cupid and Tinder have been on my phone for days. There are men on there that I am interested in, I just don't feel like getting back to them. This honestly makes it easier to date. I feel no pressure to get into anything serious, and if we're not serious or exclusive, I get back to you when I feel like it. It also makes your time valuable. If you're only online for 20 minutes a day / twice a week, they'll scramble more for you than if you instantly text back and wait for them to text.

I just broke off my 9.5year LTR and while I'm working on rebuilding myself through learning and hobbies, and not dating, I've idly wondered about whether any of the men I've seen would be worth my time and effort. 100% no so far.

So currently, yes. I am experiencing this. I have a shiny new bucket list to work through so I'll just do that. If I find a man, great. If not, eh 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dates should be fun and entertaining. If it starts feel like a part time job, it’s time to move your attention to other areas of your life, and take a break, do some hobbies instead. Put it on hold at least temporarily so you replenish your energy.

I’m a strong believer in the whole “you get back the energy you put out” mentality.

I was dating boys that didn’t treat me well and made me feel “less than.” When I was finally exhausted and sick of feeling worthless, I decided to delete the apps, the phone numbers and anyone who wasn’t worth my time. Deleted guys I dated, bad friends, anyone! From my phone, social media, from my LIFE.

I then decided to focus on myself. Date myself, love myself, treat myself how I wanted to be treated. By doing that, I believe I changed the energy I was putting out into the universe. The people that were previously attracted to me stopped showing up as frequently. When they did appear, I was in the mental space to shut them down and move forward.

Where I’m getting at with this is that I suggest you date yourself for a bit! Enjoy time with yourself and with the friends that make you happy. I think the right guy will come around at the right time.

LOL honestly this is normal and probably the best approach. Remember - men are there to make your life better and easier and if they can’t, then forget about them

Yeah...a thought came across my mind gbe other day after some half-hearted swiping that I'm attracted to men but I don't like them and I am underwhelmed by them. (Specifically the ones in my area, not every single man ever...yet lol). This meh feeling has been settling over me for sometime and I don't yet know the full reason for it and I'm a little worried it won't go away.
