Don’t let them think you’re desperate for a relationship. Be more discreet. Make them feel like they’re never certain what you want. Men like whoever isn’t immediately available to them.

Most marriages before age 23 or so, result in divorce, poverty and/or severe dysfunction. Men who live with their girlfriends and play house, want to split bills and have sex with their roommate at their convenience. So if you're in that age range and you're taking a relationship very seriously, chances are high the guy is just using you for relationship practice, splitting bills and for sex.

Men who want to get partnered and married, usually get engaged and married sometime between 25-35. Most married men are LVM, so it doesn't mean these men are of a higher caliber than late 30s fuckboys, they are just a different type of LVM.

Men who are over 35 and never married are usually garbage, but so are most husbands.

Don't let men dangle commitment over your head, don't let older men manipulate you into thinking they are any different. They are just older and with more experience at manipulation. At least the guys your own age usually have minimal pretenses.

Ask yourself what do you want? Are you just brainwashed by Disney, romcoms, by media or family conditioning you to believe that a man picking you is the most important thing? There isn't a magical age where men suddenly take women seriously, or treat women like humans.

FDS is after all a dating sub (although it has grown into so much more than that IMO), and I'm not saying it's silly for you want to want to find someone. Just arm yourself with knowledge, invest in yourself, don't rush into things, be observant. If you do those things, if you have a great screening system-- you can actually find a HVM, maybe in a few years, if thats what you want. But you're probably never going to find one, if you are not aware of the reality of men's nature and the reality of modern dating culture.

I've taken dating seriously on-and-off since I was about your age. It should be a fun, part-time endeavor, though. If you are investing too much energy into it, or you're not having fun, take a break. When you take dating too seriously, it becomes a chore, and men can smell the desperation.

That's because all men have this macho, patriarchal image in their head of throwing a football with their sons (and it's always sons, they never imagine daughters), and they don't want to be too old to play sports with their sons. So men who are capable of dating seriously (and not ever man is capable), will start to do so when his knees start to give out LOL
