When is enough enough? It’s time for women to boycott these apps.

I submit that it’s time for women to walk away from these apps. This weekend on FDS we’ve talked about the food delivery apps being a privacy/safety issue, and we already know that the ride-share apps have a well-documented history of physical and sexual assaults occurring with these companies covering it up. The truth is, we have no idea what the real numbers are, and thus no idea of the true risks involved in using these apps. It’s clear that we can’t count on these companies to protect women from their own “employees,” let alone third-parties who chose to take advantage of our trust in these apps. So, I think it’s time for us to stop giving out our addresses and door codes; it’s time to stop getting into cars with strangers. What do you ladies think?
