100% of the time when some dude derails a conversation about sexual assault with “but men get raped too!!! What about false accusations???” they don’t actually care about male rape victims or false rape accusations. They are just trying as hard as they can to get people to stop talking about women’s issues and stop believing victims.

I love it when they bring up the fact that men get murdered more than women but than conveniently leave out the fact that overwhelming majority of men that are being murdered are killed BY OTHER MEN not women. Same thing with workplace deaths, the companies are often owned by MEN and managed by MEN and it’s overwhelming white MALE politicians who are defunding and hurting OSHA which would protect men in dangerous jobs. Whose starting wars which are seeing men be killed in combat? Our MALE presidents and the majority MALE congress. Men should start having conversations with OTHER MEN about protecting male life instead of whining to/about women.

My favorites are “but but men have dangerous professions!” Last time I checked, coal miners weren’t sitting around all day beating it to porn and looking for rare and random stories about female criminals to post on misogyny subs. The fact that these losers try to piggyback on real, hardworking men is hilarious. They wouldn’t last a day in any of those jobs. There’s also “but but there’s so many more homeless men!” “Men commit more suicide!” Blah blah blah. Poor men. Funny that, the last two people I personally knew who committed suicide were women. Our rates of depression vastly exceeds men’s, so it just shows we fucking suffer a lot more and push through it instead of offing ourselves. And they’ll give you shit if you’re depressed, or just disappear, but when they are depressed they get a lot more sympathy than we do.

Women are homeless too, and worse, often have no way out of bad situations because they have kids. Also, where are all these “freebies” they claim women get? I’m raising my kids virtually on my own and the debt to show for it, and I don’t get shit for free stuff. I do know the women and children’s shelter by my house is full all the time. Yeah great lives we have. They can never specify what these freebies are because THEY DON’T EXIST. They can fuck right off with their victimization crap. Women have it way harder than men and always have. The fact that we deal with it all better than them doesn’t make them victims of society! They need step up and actually become one of these real men they try to associate themselves with already.
