So I just joined this sub not too long ago. I was so excited to see that someone put what I’ve been seeking to understand into words.

Don’t get me wrong, I still have a long way to go. I spend hours today going though the handbook and a lot of the posts.

I have a really shitty history for dating LVM. And if I had gotten this kind of message before, I’d be eager to go meet them, even at this hour (as I’m still at my bar). I’m learning how to make men see my value.

I still need to figure out how to do that in the context of being a bartender. I’m 22 and am running a new place and we’re more successful by the week. A part of my job is flirting and making people feel relaxed and essentially being the heart of the party. I work too much so my opportunities for meeting people outside of the bar are slim.

And that presents the next problem. Outside of work, I am not the flirty, talkative person. And I have no idea how to become HVW in men’s eyes as they see taking the bartender home as an honor badge. I swear to god, the amount of people that are throwing themselves at me but get disappointed when I want an actual date as opposed to getting drunk and fucking is astonishing.

Good job on the upgrade, but you made a bad choice by telling a complete stranger where you live. Even just the suburb name is enough for someone to stalk you, and you told him where you live and work. Be careful next time!
