I think schools making the decision to kill the SAT will severely sabotage male college enrollment rates. Several studies have pointed out that men on average tend to perform better at test then women while women tend to get better class grades. High SAT scores open the doors for the most selective colleges and increase scholarship opportunities. In fact, one of the only advantages men held in schools were high SAT scores, by removing the SAT, men will no longer have any advantages in school, which is worrisome considering they make up 43% of those enrolled in colleges and their enrollment keeps decreasing. I attached the SAT study down below and I'm curious as to what everyone's thoughts on this are.
