At work today while putting books away one of the go backs was a book called "Good And Mad" (it's a feminist book which is all you need to know) and a blurb on the back mentions MeToo. Reminded me how of much I hate this movement. In my eyes it's a hate movement and should definitely be considered as such with how it's weaponized false accusations against men without due process. Which in itself isn't justice at all. And their dangerous rhetoric of "believe women" when women are just as capable of men as lying and manipulating, and believing what anyone says based on their gender is stupid in the first place but in this case it's downright dangerous. Let's not forget how this movement continues to exclude and ignore male victims and hardly if ever acknowledges female offenders, with there being many female rapists and pedophiles who rape and sexually harass/assault men and boys in much higher numbers than believed and reported. Which is also discriminatory in a way, re-inforcing the notion that men are sexual predators out to harm women and making women fearful of men, and it sends an awful message to young girls basically telling them to hate and fear men. It also led to stupid, sexist campaigns like the Gillette ad and things like "Educate your son," again re-enforcing the notion that all men are to collectively blame and bad women are to be let off the hook no matter what. The fact they continued to stand by Amber Heard and even defend her with the enormous amounts of evidence against her with how she horribly abused Johnny Depp I think is when they lost all credability. They showed their true colors as an anti-male hate movement.

It's truly unfortunate how this movement has actually made things much worse for both male and female survivors of sexual assault; men will continue to be mocked, ridiculed and disbelieved as well as have their trauma marginalized, while women trying to come forward will be accused of seeking fame and a quick buck, and being dismissed as another liar. This movement is one of the absolute worst things to happen to men and women's relations. The same can be said for Time's Up, which is another fraudulent, hateful organization. I've ranted about this before but seeing the mention of it again reminded me of how much I truly loathe this movement and how it's made things so much worse for both men and women alike. It's one of the most discriminatory and divisive movements in recent times. Male and female victims both deserve justice and this movement doesn't provide it for either.
