I don't know the intricacies of such investigations, but the motivation can go three ways from what I can tell. I could easily be wrong, but whatever.

He had made an enemy or someone that held a grudge resentful enough to warrant killing him. Anything from owing someone money to losing someone's case.
It was an at-random shooting where the attacker chose him out of coincidence or convenience.

Or...

(And the most likely, in my opinion) it's a hate crime against a man who thinks women aren't the center of the world.

An interesting name jumped of the page at me, the terrorist organization called "The Southern Poverty Law Center". I can't help but wonder if he had something legally or other wise that would have made him more than just a thorn in their flesh, resulting in his demise?

I wouldn't put it past one of these feminist or male feminist wack jobs to try to kill him. Look at how extreme things are getting lately, and how insane people on the left are becoming. I have no idea if that was the case, but I wouldn't be at all surprised.

What a shame, to lose such a valiant fighter for men's rights. Hats off to him and his work.
