This is how it works gentlemen. If you have a history of women not showing an interest in you and all of a sudden they do, examine why. Are you in much better shape now? Are you making more money or have no financial burdens like she does?

Being in better shape makes you more appealing to women. No matter what. But you know why she's interested. It's because you put on muscle. Thing is, knowing that means you have to maintain it nonstop. For instance there are guys who had 10% body fat. Went up to 12-20% and women stopped talking to them. Which means you know she's not there because you're smart or charming. It's because you look fit and strong. It's a sexual boost and that she may feel safer around you. Even if you're funny/smart/etc, these are merely bonuses.
Above all else, you have to realize that. Once the muscle is gone, she's leaving (unless you have some promising financial prospects in the future). Since she likes how buff you are, you have to be wary of other men that are in just as good or better shape. Trust your instincts. Never lose your cool. If she's playing you, she'll tell you what you want to hear. Look for changes in her behavior as well. Things that she'll try to hide that she didn't before. Dodging you when you try to communicate with her. Also gauge how she herself looks, her position life(education/income level), if she has kids/wants kids. The more attractive she is, the easier she can replace you. Remember you have to keep working out. If she tries to change who you are over harmless things(like the job you work/what you like) she's trying to domesticate you. If she tries to get you to stop working out, she's trying to domestic you and cause you to lose access to other women by making you less attractive thus you'll have a harder time leaving.

It is a lot of work. The worse off you are genetically, the more work you'll need. And remember the coldest lesson of all. You are not allowed to falter. Lose your job? Get injured? Get cancer? Experience depression? Her support will only last as long as she believes you can bring back those benefits. That means you can be hitting the gym hardcore for 10 years. Get your leg broken and your gains drop? She's out. You have to maintain the benefit in theory indefinitely.

I’m deeply saddened at how my wife turned out when I went from 25, 200 Ilb, 8% body fat making 80,000-100,000k with bonuses to 35, 170 Ilb, 15% body fat, making 60-80k. I’m just too depressed to even get a divorce.
The funny thing is I was getting shit on when ignorant, find out she’s cheating, rage and tell her to go. She apologizes, tell her actions speak louder than words. So she immediately gets up and cashes out her checking account gives it to me, chops up “her” credit card I pay for, and then begs for straight anal.
Basically being supportive and kind and getting a little older gets me fucked over. Flipping the fuck out and treating her like a second class whore who needs to get the fuck out has me fed well daily, good sex, and more money. I just feel trapped, saddened, and co-dependent either way.
My boss and I are going back to the gym together. Dudes been really supportive with giving me paid time off to clear my head. Apparently he dealt with same shit before and is down to get me back pumping iron and swinging some golf clubs with him so I can try and move on with my life.

Women are bad negotiators (I say this as someone who is not a terribly good negotiator), but they have huge fucking egos, so they don't know it. Smart men use this to their advantages. You need to get the bitch thinking she's got you up against the wall when really she's agreeing to something far better than your worst case.
Here's what this guy should shoot for: Get the kid that is his (full custody or minimal visitation with bio mom) and ditch the bitch and 2 other kids with no child support and minimal, if any, alimony. How can he do this? Start out acting like he wants primary custody of all 3 kids and negotiate from there. If my theory is correct (she resents the fat kid because it was fathered by her husband who she hates for not being "man enough"), it's not an unrealistic outcome.
