This is a very good point that flies past most feminist (and their allies) heads.

Dr. Jordan Peterson (I know, 'tradcon') demonstrated very well in his clashes with feminist automatons that history is not a story of all (or most) men holding women down. Rather, a very, very small minority of men made it to the top of hierarchies throughout history and benefitted from any sort of 'privilege' over most men and women. The overwhelming majority of men were simply grinding away to survive, with their ultimate hope being to find a supportive, loyal, and loving woman to have children with and pass on their genes.

Life was extremely difficult and short prior to modern medicine and other creature comforts (most of it created by men). Men and women had to cooperate with each other just to make the most out of such a nasty and brutish existence.

If some peasant woman had the gall to say "I know my worth. I demand a 6 foot tall Duke or Baron. Must make 6 figure shillings" -- she would have effectively been committing suicide. She simply would not have survived.

Now that women do not necessarily 'need' men anymore for financial support (even though modern women are loaded with debt and spending problems and clearly still do need men for almost every essential service they enjoy), they can focus on the top tier men only and delude themselves into thinking they deserve one, while simultaneously claiming they are oppressed by men as a group.

yeah, it really is hard to be truly objective. To NOT miss relevant data points is a non-trivial task. it took humans FOREVER to start getting real physics and chemistry, longer to be truly scientific about sociology. And while we all benefit from this stuff, most of us arent really objective about most stuff. WOmen are pre-disposed to just not take most men into account. Its unfortunate that naive narratives dominate. Unfortunately, our attempts at educating people get met with angry tyrads.

It goes much deeper than that. For ex. when you advertise your "oppression", then you get a constant supply of validation and support from thirsty betas who are white knighting. There are also many other dynamics which work in their favor. For ex. they position themselves as a "damsel in distress" and, again, lots of simps are going to flock to help them. It's just a postmodern ploy designed to gain more POWER from men. Feminists will ALWAYS position themselves as "victims", because it gets them more FREE stuff from clueless submissive providers.

The more they press the bullshit "oppression" theme, the more high status men will refuse to get married. They've already made marriage a nightmare for men, and it's the very worst if you're wealthy. If you have money, you stand the most to lose from marriage.
