To me, from a very young age, I understood money == freedom

When I was still on wage, whenever I bought something, I was like: "ok, this costs 45 minutes of my time, this costs 3 hours of my time"... (always net, after taxes)

Because I was then selling my (-! MY !-) time, my life for money. Hours upon hours, days upon days of MY life were spent, never to be recovered, so that hard earned money, life-time, had to be spent for something worthy.

And... whenever I reflect back to how much money I lost to women, directly and indirectly... I cringe. I just cringe.

I think that there is nothing better than financial independence. When you don't owe anything to anybody you are free. That opens up so many doors and even better you can take your time and determine which way you want to go.
