For better or worse, "female comedian" is an oxymoron. I've yet to watch a female comedian who doesn't resort to dating, body odors, vagina, hook-ups, feminist propaganda, etc.

Joan Rivers, from 30 to 50 was actually funny because she came from a time you couldn't tell vagina and slut commentary. So she worked and honestly was funny.

But even she just turned to crude shock commentary in old age once it became allowed on tv.

The hardest part about standup comedy for women is that it is at heart, a male mating/social strategy.
Followed by the reckless vulnerability and the need for high observational skills.
Unless you want to be a shock comic, then you have to take that which is unacceptable and make it acceptable. To invite people into a moment of unacceptable humor.
Which is why they do vagina, vagina, vagina. They're trying to be shock comics, which appears to be an easy way out, but it's not because people still need to laugh.
And not cringe.

Plenty of men still suck at it. And can become corrupted by ideological bleed and self-censorship. But women have a much harder time connecting to the process.

Conceptualize a female "Jeff Dunham" and ask why we don't see such a person.

The only one that comes close and I’ll check out on Netflix is Wanda Sykes… she’s a lesbian and doesn’t do the whole male bashing schtick which is where 90% of the female comedians go… which then gets to could you imagine if a male comedian bashed women? Oh, actually we have plenty of examples… they get cancelled.
