Hello! This is my first post on this alt and I dont post alot on reddit so apologies for any formatting mistakes.

Essentially, I was wondering if I could try and follow the principles of MGTOW while being in a relationship. Always putting myself first, never getting married (I have explained this to her, and while she was saddened by it she agreed that the way society is currently makes marriage a bad decision). I find that alot of the self-improvement advice that is given here is really good and has a positive effect when followed.

As for my current relationship: I know thst many have probably said this before, but I feel like my current relationship is different than the rest. My current girlfriend took the initiative to confess her feelings for me rather than beat around the bush with "signals.". While she does believe in equality for all genders, she has told me that she thinks this was achieved "a while ago" and that there's no point to feminism being as prevalent in the west as it is today. She was not born in Canada but rather born in China, and immigrated. I feel like this is also in her favor as she didn't have to deal with alot of the indoctrination that occurs here at young ages.

We both have careers ahead of us (she is soon starting med school and, despite being 18, i have landed several jobs in the finance sector which give me valuable experience to become a quant), and I have told her many times that my career is my first priority, which she has accepted.

Basically, guys, is it possible to GYOW without really having to do it all alone? Can I do things with this person who is one of my best friends alongside being my girlfriend?
