I assume this may have come to the attention of a few people here already, but I just thought I'd throw it out there. Jordan Peterson was on Joe Rogan the other day and he started talking about the carnivore diet. All his reactions to it are in the link above. I switched to something similar at the start of the year and before this I was someone who rarely ate red meat, mainly turkey, chicken and fish. While I'm not strictly carnivore, I'm now at 70% meat only meals, minimal carbs, zero sugar, I can report pretty much the same reactions Peterson has had.

I didn't have depression, so scratch that one. Weight loss, I dropped about 3kg, I wasn't overweight to begin with, but I'm shredded now. I'm late 30's and physically I feel 15, no more joint pain, no muscle soreness. I feel like I'm in a new body. Strength has gone through the roof and I do less to hold any muscle gains. No more stomach bloat; bowel movements? of course I'm all plugged up, right? Nope. No problem. No more hunger ever, less thinking about food and any cravings are gone. Mental clarity has increased, that one jacked up further when I started putting heavy cream in my coffee. Sleep better. This might be a bonus or hindrance - raging boner every morning. I'd say it came in a few waves, first the mind started switching on, then the body started feeling better, then the feelings of greater strength arrived. Skin seems to be way better too, but I'm also now showering in cold water every morning.

The real bonus for me is I never appreciated food. I'd always found it a pain the backside. Now I keep ground beef cooked and ready to reheat if I don't have any steak around and it's ground beef every morning for breakfast. It also removes you from those horseshit gatherings.

The other thing is the comments, I've never had so many comments on how well I apparently look and what the hell am I doing? And I wasn't out of shape before, so something must be obvious. Who knows, maybe it's some sort of placebo, but this is an improvement forum and I can say I've never felt better.
