I like how Islam deals with divorce and marriage. No sex before marriage is allowed. Before marriage they agree on certain amount of money that the husband pays if he is the once who asked for the divorce. If the woman asks for the divorce she gets nothing. That's why although Islam, in my opinion, is shit as a religion in every single aspect of life, they still have strong societies and their families are really strong because they deal with women and marriage in the right way.

To be honest, I am strangely happy that my ex wife took the easy way out through divorce and setting me free. I didnt think this way at first, but 2 years later I see it now.

Conceptually it is right. In practice it cannot happen with todays laws and radical feminism, unless you have two Christians who are married and totally devoted to the God they believe in. That would be a 1 in a million. I’ve come across many Christian men who commit to their vows, but no Christian women.

Most men I know that are divorced are Christians who were with women that claimed they were, too. They'll find any excuse to leave the man, even false allegations of abuse or that he wasn't satisfying her enough.

When it comes to cash, people's religion or self described belief system goes right out the window. You're no safer marrying a 'proper Christian' than anybody else. Huge mistake thinking that a person's morals will guide their actions during the divorce process, especially if they've already committed adultery and proven themselves to be, well, 'un-Christian'.

Recipe for disaster.

My ex and I married both in a Christian religion that believes the only grounds for divorce is adultery.

She still divorced me in the end and I never cheated. It’s a great concept if both parties actually stick to it.

It doesn't matter what we think on it; states have no-fault divorces so anybody can do whatever they want and not be held accountable to each other. Talking about our thoughts on it is moot because it's not going to change anything. Enough men have been burnt to not believe what the initial promises are, because they were never promises but smoke blown up asses.
