I’ve been there. I could go on and on about what I gave my wife and no matter what, it just was never good enough. She was never satisfied. Oddly enough, she was never into the stereotypical materialistic things women are into. She insisted on marriage counseling. The counselor (a woman) agreed with me on 90% of the issues. So the wife decides she doesn’t like that counselor and insists on a different one. Same thing happens! New counselor agrees with me on 90% of the issues. Then the wife has affairs while in the counseling. That’s always a bad sign. Lol. Trust me when I say that there will come a day where you will look forwards instead of backwards. Keep the faith, my man.

That sucks. She has probably been fucking her boss for awhile now. That’s the harsh truth.

Not sure what your state requires, but you may be required to go to counseling before the court will grant a divorce. Just something to consider.

Lawyer up. Yeah, it’s expensive and it sucks, but they are paid to look out for your best interests. Don’t be afraid to file first.

Yup it is going to suck but you will get through it in one piece. Went through a divorce like you but different scenario.

If you have a kid or kids, take a look at dadsdivorce.com and read up on the advice that countless other dads went through.
things will potentially get vicious, she may want the place to herself or make you do something you regret. Gotta be strong mentally and not get swayed by her. This is very very important. Protect yourself whenever you are alone. He said she said is not tilted in your favor.

like someone else said, don't be afraid to file first. Most divorces are filed by women and you know how it is, there can be a lot of false statements made in that document and you would be put on the defensive the entire way

Just be careful to not get ensnared by the false domestic violence allegations - do not be alone with her. Take control of your finances and leave asap, stay in a hotel if need be. Stop paying the mortgage and build up a war chest. Cut off all credit cards. Empty joint accounts and move to a new bank if your pay is accessible by her. Don't be afraid to let material shit go, such as furniture - as stuff is only worth what you can sell it for. That 2k bed - worthless. Start documenting all assets. Collect paperwork, as this is an information war. Grab tools and valuable toys and sentimental stuff. Minimise communication with her and don't let her inflame you. Take time off work to get this shit sorted when she is not there.

Talk to other men who have been divorced.

Expect it to get nasty - as she considers herself entitled to whatever the law says. The court will overlook her spending now, but will take full account of your assets and income.

No longer speak to her or be in a room alone with her. Be happy, you will get through it. Her relationship with the boss will become same old boring shit everyone else does after a few months. Btw the happier you are. The more crazy she will get. The more miserable boss boy will be.
