I think there are certain personality types that are more likely to GTOW, and we know personality is strongly determined by genetics. But environment and experience also plays a role. Being ripped apart in family court can turn even the most sensitive, blue pilled man into a cold stone. But just as a quick bash, I would say the personality type most likely to GTOW looks like this:

high openness (intellectual curiosity)
high conscientiousness (long term thinking)
low extroversion (happy by themselves)
low agreeableness (going against the grain)
low neuroticism (emotionally stable)

I think nature has selected against MGTOW/GYOW.

Why is there a strong drive for male to fuck? What does he get by fucking, exactly? One of the biggest dopamine rush. It may cause him a big investment of energy, maybe for the rest of his life. Not for survival but rearing the family he created.

Imagine if nature didn't wire this into men. There wouldn't be much of a population. Men would have easier time seeing the bullshit of female and say fuck all of it.

But that doesn't happen. It's actually the genes. Genes are selfish... that's where the raw evolution takes place. In short, that's the idea of the Selfish Gene. I butchered the summary but hopefully, you get the point.

It's only now that we have access to huge information, we can acknowledge this mechanism and decide consciously to go against it. But that also creates another problem... the gene of self-aware men are less likely to get passed on... he'll fuck but not get in the trap of plantation.

One place to start will be a simple test: introverts versus extroverts. Extroverts a very social, crave company and lots of it. Introverts minimize social interactions. So introverts should be more likely to go their own way. It's a small step from avoiding people to avoiding women entirely.

I'm sure of that. I have a genetic disorder that affects my brain structure and makes encounters with people painful. If I didn't had that genetic disorder I would probably have started a family before realizing how humans work.

The same way DNA makes people look slightly different on the outside it makes everyone's brain work slightly different, directly and indirectly. It would be stupid for anyone that understands genetics and evolution to say that your DNA doesn't affect your behavior.

It’s definitely true, I’m sure there are a variety of personality traits that, when mixed with the right environmental stimuli, culminate in this type of behavior.

You could probably generalize a cluster of personality types of MGTOW-minded men and show a gradient falloff of the behaviors until you get to a point that you’d describe as bluepill.

My hunch is that some prerequisites are high trait contentiousness, trait openness, a bit of dark triad, and at least average intelligence.

Would be curious to hear more thoughts on this.

We're all a combination if nature (DNA) and nurture (upbringing). How these manifest determine how we react. There are probably infinite combinations. I know for me, my upbringing (BP IV), held me back because of the time in which I was raised, but I was still able to overcome the programming and take the pill.

Almost certainly. It's the same reason that cities are almost always Democrat - cities attract a certain type, and rural areas a different type. The city lovers tend to love hustle and action and don't mind some crime and chaos, while the rural people want freedom.

It's obviously not set in stone, just tendencies. I'm sure there's a genetic and temperamental attitude that's more conducive to MGTOW.

My observations of others influenced my MGTOW understanding just as much as any personal interactions.

Ignorance is bliss to a certain point..... that certain point being the family court system and by that time it is too late.

I believe this because for me it was all nature. I never bought any female empowerment or man hating shit even as a little kid, I thought people should be treated equally. It was the same as how when I was young I went to church every Sunday with my mother but never believed it. I told my parents there is obviously no god but to the rest of the world like at school I would just play along and keep my head down. The same thing applies to feminist bullshit. Whenever I would/do see it I don't think "well they are talking with authority so it must be true", I thought/think "people with authority push these obvious and insidious lies/hypocrisies, hmmm...".
