I have experimented with various online profiles, adding high salary, increased height, fitness pics, and this is what I’ve concluded:

Women will tell you its personality that counts, but that only applies to men who have survived the following filter:

wealth > height > face > fitness

This is the gold standard.

If you loose wealth, she will leave.
If you wreck your face or end up disabled, she will leave.
If you get sick, she will leave.

Only participate in dating if you can accept that the carousel is real and your time with her is only your turn.

If you got into a relationship and lost all your muscle or became weak in any way she'd leave you immediately for another guy. That's hypergamy in a nutshell. They can lust after you if you look sexy but they don't love you, they only love your money and utility as a male. As soon as that utility is gone so is she.

I lift weights 6 days a week and I look pretty good. I do it because I love looking in the mirror and looking jacked, and the feeling of getting stronger. I regularly ignore thots at the gym that I catch looking at me.

In my opinion, putting in effort to get pussy lowers a man's value. It implies that you give a damn what some ho thinks about you, which basically means you see her as higher than yourself.

You know the answer already. My advise is to workout for yourself. People get caught up with "gains" but unless you're actually a competitive body builder you dont need to worry about lifting heavy. Take care of your body and it will take care of you.

OK I'll give you the truth and the lowdown from my own personal experience. I'm in my 40s now. At various times in my life I played a lot of sports and did a lot of physical activity - not because I'm an athlete or naturally inclined that way, but because I'm from that generation and it was drilled into us at the unusual school I attended. When I was in my 20s there was no such thing as the Red Pill - it had no name. Some guys had an inkling about it, but most did not. So when reality came crashing in and I was at a loss, the advice I got from all around me was 'hit the gym, get in shape, living well is the best revenge, etc.' It didn't work.

Since then, I've been in and out of shape at various times in my adult life. When in shape, it took a tremendous amount of phyical effort to get that way. I got female attention, yes, but not as much as you might think, because other factors tend to be more important (e.g. height, which you can't change). Also, age (younger women go for older men). In all honesty, getting in shape isn't worth it at all if it's a means to an end, e.g. female validation, peer approval, etc. because it requires a massive amount of work to get there and sustain it. The real issue, and this is what we didn't know back in the day, is that the problem is in your head not your body. Specifically, you're thinking about girls and what attracts them. Why even waste your time with thinking about what they want? It's not a good use of your time, your effort, your money or your imagination. All of those things, by the way, are immense innate powers and you could turn them into something good for YOU. I mean, what value is it to change yourself to please people (women) who have no value nor bother to create value themselves?

I would just say, don't even think about such things. Adjust your way of thinking so that you focus on developing your natural talents. Tbh you would not have written that post if sports and exercise were your natural talents, so just forget about them. Get yourself some beer and let your mind flow into what you naturally do well. Is it art? Music? Writing?

Women are even more shallow than men.

Men are binary, either they want to have sex or not. Most guys are easy to satisfy and would be perfectly happy with a 6-7 average type girl next door.

Most women only want the 8+ guys. They want the top 10% of guys and pay no attention to the rest. They would rather have 5 women sharing a chad and being mistreated than be with a beta.

Lookup the pareto principle or the 80 / 20 rule. It comes up frequently in nature. The top 20% have 80% of the worlds wealth. I would also bet that the top 20% best looking guys get 80% of the girls. The other 80% of guys have to fight for scraps of fat whales with kids.

This makes sense if you think about it from a biology perspective. Women are suppose to be selected and find the best genes to produce superior offspring. Without our social structure women would be in polygamous relationships with Chads. They'd prefer to share a top 10% good looking guy rather than "settle" for a beta.

I think where people get caught up is in the narrative that women are saints and men are objectifying pigs. IMO women are even more shallow.

So there's this little thing women do that I like to call "division of love". It's just a stupid term I made up to describe a particular behavior most men on this sub are already aware of.

Women have started to realize that their hypergamous standards are not realistic, so they divide their "love" into two, sometimes three, different types of men. The "alpha fucks" and the "beta bux". When you talk and dress well, you are presenting as a beta bux, IE a man who can provide money. When you post a gym selfie, you are presenting as alpha fucks, IE a man that turns on the cunt faucet.

Now I'm not familiar with dating app culture, but it is possible that women on there are looking for alpha fucks more than beta bux. It is also possible that your profile didn't indicate sufficient wealth, IE you didn't go out of your way to describe how willing you are to be a sugar daddy, or you didn't sufficiently describe your job to convince them that you are wealthy.

In reality it matters that much now because that is all that anyone ever sees or is exposed to in meeting people. I have never been slim, but in the day I was buff as fuck. Think, strength training body builder, a beer keg with legs and arms. Never thought myself a pretty man, but I was always charismatic as fuck too. That got me tons of attention and sex, but that would never work in this new environment anymore. Even if you have charisma and the words, if you don't have the look, they have an endless supply of options that do, though their other aspects may not be as good as yours.

I've let myself go far more than I should have for various reasons. Being fit should matter, but only to yourself, for yourself. You don't want to get old after a life of abusing yourself, it really sucks. That has been my personal experience.
