She's... A Deadbaby Mom?
[–]Itisforsexy80 points81 points82 points 9 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
That's the thing, it's not even just abortion. If a woman can't or doesn't want to kill her fetus, she can just put the baby up for adoption instead. Voiding all financial responsibility to the kid. There are even safe haven laws in a few US states where a woman can leave her kid at the door of a police / firefighter station and void all responsibility that way.
Women have multiple options to render any potential financial burden negated, without any legal or social consequences. And yet they have the gal to act like a father who does not want to be a father is a deadbeat dad. No. Fuck you. If the dad says he doesn't want to be part of the child's life and you still have the baby and don't put it up for adoption, you take care of it. That's your choice NOT his.

This happened to my brother and he has no say in the matter at all, pretty fucked up.
[–]Appleseed123330 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Fathers can give up children too. But haven't heard of any court cases challenging it or requiring mother's consent.
[–]Itisforsexy2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Safe haven laws require consent from both parents, yes. Though if a mother dropped of their kid without the father's consent, there isn't much issue. The dad would care for the kid and the mother would be off the hook. Good luck collecting child support from a woman.

Men should be able to opt out of parenthood in the same time frame that a woman can have an abortion. At that point, the woman can decide if she wants to raise the baby alone, or if she should have an abortion. If she chooses abortion, they split the cost. That's what fair looks like.
It'll never happen though, because the government is in too deep regarding using tax money to pay for the kids of single mothers, and giving men options would only worsen that. Either the man has to be accountable, or the government has to be accountable. Heaven fucking forbid the woman in the situation ever be accountable.
[–]Joel92839 points40 points41 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Totally agree.
It's beyond bewildering and totally incomprehensible that a man cannot legally opt-out of being a father, while a woman has every imaginable option available to her, backed by an all-powerful state (and uniformed men with guns).
This appears to be true in every "advanced" Western country in the world: An accidental pregnancy literally ENSLAVES the male.
Internalizing this undeniable truth made my blood run cold - I literally flee from women I know have feelings for me. If they get pregnant "by accident" (and we know what women are capable of in this arena) it's a $400K mistake and an 18-26 year problem.
Remember Boys: Her Body, Her Choice. Your Body, NO CHOICE.
If that doesn't make you a MGTOW, nothing will.
[–]phlegmvomit5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well said, brother. The risk is not worth it. I'll gladly jerk off and call it a night instead.
[–]ManIsWalking29 points30 points31 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
That's an easy answer. Take off single motherhood as a qualifier for welfare. Having children is not a disability, it's a choice.
Could you imagine the amount of autistic screeching from the left if that was ever proposed?
[–]Itisforsexy22 points23 points24 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
If they did that, there'd be a violent revolution the next day. Of course, not by women who are weak and unable to fight a revolution, but by the beta manginas they conned into fighting for them.
[–]Mac29020 points21 points22 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
This. The manginas are always the true enemy.

She's allowed to abort the kid? I'm allowed to abort my financial responsibility.
[–]fakenate12 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I think if that were the case, women would claim that she didn't know she was pregnant until after the timeframe of an abortion.
[–]MuhTriggersGuise2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Pregnancy tests can be bought at the dollar store. If she is so fat she can't even tell if she's pregnant, if she doesn't want to lose out on support in the off chance she gets pregnant, she better spend a dollar or two a month to make sure of her status.
[–]MuhTriggersGuise1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
or the government has to be accountable
Uh, it does?
[–]PlanB_pedofile0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
i would love to see a reverse where men can get full custody of their child and get assistance being a single father.
often its never the child that causes the dad to leave, its the bitch of a mother. and it should be child abuse to leave a child to be raised by incompetent women.
[–]IslandicFreedom21 points22 points23 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
In my entire life, not even once have I ever heard of a woman taking any responsibility in the breakup of a) a marriage b) a marriage where children were involved.
This also includes tons of dates where the bitch decided she would spend most of the conversation talking about her ex boyfriend.

Just need two more. A man with his pockets out and living in rags saying "this is also a deadbeat father. He only gets to see his children on weekends when their mother wants to go out" He doesn't have money to take his kids places. The one with a woman high and drunk getting gangbanged. This is a strong single mother. She has money to do what she wants it and no matter what shes doing the best she can.

You don't understand equality:
Her body her choice
Your wallet her choice
[–]Drezzzire5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
I argue this shit every chance I get.
Men should have the same freedoms as women.
We are judged based off of not going along with a woman's decision.
She decides to keep the child and we have no say She decides to abort the child and we have no say
She keeps it and we want a child=family
She keeps it and we don't want a child=deadbeat dad & child support.
Nobody sees this as a fucking problem????
I can't believe we still don't have rights as men regarding children yet
It's disgraceful
Fuck the system that only demands us to be responsible for women's decisions while having none of our own. We are fucking slaves when it comes to children.
DO NOT HAVE KIDS DO NOT GET MARRIED
If there's anything an intelligent man in western society needs to learn, it is those core principles.
If you sway away from those-YOU WILL eventually BE FUCKED

Gender Equality dictates = pro-choice of BOTH physical or wallet abortions. Anything else is NOT gender equality but a lie.
Interesting that there is an increase risk of cancer with number of abortions, aka Mother Nature does not like it, but that's her 'choice'.
[–]AllahHatesFags3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link
That is a lie spread by pro-life cuckservatives.
[–]mentalidade_logica1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
I assume you refer to my 2nd paragraph and if not, prepare for war.
You know, I tend to do a forensic analysis on everything with a very open-minded attitude and what they claimed made sense to me, at the time. By the way, in case if you're wondering, I don't oppose all abortions.
[–]Shimakaze46 points7 points8 points 9 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
There is no increasing risk of cancer with abortion, abortion is basically a miscarriage and many women suffer them, sometimes multiple ones. As AHF says, it's a nasty lie spread by the militant pro lifers, you know the ones that burn down abortion clinics.
[–]mentalidade_logica-1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago* (8 children) | Copy Link
I'm not that convinced of that. The government sites I checked do claim little evidence for increase cancer due to abortions. However, they refer to breast cancer only and exclude other forms of cancer such as cervical, ovarian or liver.
"A recent paper by Gierach et al. (2005) found that women who have previously been pregnant and then had an induced abortion had a 31 percent increased chance of developing ovarian cancer. Since over 1,000,000 abortions are performed annually in the US and 100,000 in Canada, a possible role between abortions and induced abortions cannot be ignored and should be further investigated to determine its role."

"BREAST CANCER: The risk of breast cancer almost doubles after one abortion, and rises even further with two or more abortions."

I don't know, sounds pretty legit to me, but I'm not a doctor thou, and to be honest, nor am I that concerned with women's problems. My primary concern is for the double-standards as per the pic.
[–]MuhTriggersGuise0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Correlation != causation
It's entirely feasible that women who get abortions are typically unwed and don't know the father well, which also implies they have sex with men they don't know well, and they don't use protection (hence the pregnancy). Guess what else causes all sorts of cancers? HPV. Guess who gets that? Women who have unprotected sex with multiple partners.
Even your sources say they need to figure out the mechanism. Implying natural selection has evolved women to get cancer for having an abortion is frankly, retarded.
[–]mentalidade_logica0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Like I said, I'm not that concerned with women's problems. My primary concern is for the double-standards as per the pic. Sorry.
[–]MuhTriggersGuise-1 points0 points1 point 9 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Who's talking about women's problems? You made a claim and said you have evidence, I said the evidence is not even close to conclusive and explained why.
[–]mentalidade_logica1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link
1 - I originally said that there is an increase risk of cancer with number of abortions. Check.
2 - I then quoted from legit sources that and I quote; "BREAST CANCER: The risk of breast cancer almost doubles after one abortion, and rises even further with two or more abortions." Check. (That's conclusive enough for me).
They both check out.
3 - I choose to believe the above sources and as I mention it, I'm not that concerned with the details about it - period. My concern is with the double-standards on this pic.
Who's talking about women's problems?
Well, correct me if I'm wrong but breasts and/or abortions do tend to be a woman's problem, no? Anyway, not my primary cup of tea, except perhaps as a taxpayer (immaterial thou).
[–]MuhTriggersGuise0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Refuse to only talk about the points you want, but it doesn't prove you're right, just that you're willfully ignorant.

[–]givecake[🍰] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
SHIT. How could I never draw this parallel before? It's so obvious in hindsight. This is the perfect answer to abortion.
Anyone wants to justify abortion, they're also justifying men's choice.

How is it an argument against pro choice instead of an argument for men having an option to opt out?

Let's not forget even if he wants to be a father more than anything in the world, she can just terminate the pregnancy.
I'm pretty sure in this scenario he would still be considered a jerk if he argued with her about it....

I remember reading about some possible legislation that would allow me to sign a paper that basically said " I wanted an abortion and she said no" and it waved all legal responsibility on him. That was a few years ago and never heard anything about it again di I guess nothing came of it
[–]Jonlife0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
She's also mkre likely to leave a path of destruction in her wake pathetic wake. Most women can't tollerate having had an abortion, knowing that they killed a living being
Abortion was always very interesting to me, because it shows who society cares most about, and who they don't give a shit about.
Who cares if we murder babies, as long as we protect our pure wimminz they can pump out millions more! One life is meaningless!
Rofl what a bunch of sadistic animals.
A plague on all their houses.
