So less than a year after our separation my ex is broke, selling furniture and other items to pay bills and posting for a roommate.

She had at least 23k in the bank when we split and makes around 55-60k a year. Yet flat broke.

I always handled the finances when we were together and I always had to reign in her spending. She bought a fancy condo after the break up and fully furnished it with brand new things.

I on the other hand grabbed the cheapest apartment I could find and took all the crappy stuff she didn’t want. My money was put into a retirement account instead.

It amazes me the spending habits of the woman I know. My Mom was always broke, claimed bankruptcy twice. Woman don’t seem to plan for the future. Anyways thought I’d post I’m sure others have seen this with their ex’s as well.
