Because we live in a gynocentric society, genius, and GYOW isn't going to change that. You're still going to pay taxes for single mothers that get support from the state instead of being responsible for their poor choices. You're still at chance of not getting a job because of "diversity hiring". So of course this kind of things will be talked about. And then there's the memes, but that's to be expected from anywhere; and when you see some of the things retarded people say on twitter, people just want to laugh at them, which is normal.

Newsflash: if we want to talk about other things that aren't about how society is fucking up with men, or how society is upside down right now as a whole, we'll go on other reddit that are completely about that, which is way more effective. This place is mainly for people to share their story in order to show others that it's fine, they're not the problem, it happens to everyone and the problems with gender dynamics is a society-wide problem, they're not the only ones that have been deceived.

Thinking that "this is about mgtow so nobody should talk about women!!" is retarded to no end. Not dating and staying away from women helps a bit, but it doesn't make everything disappear and it doesn't solve the problem with feminism.

Yeah, I mean, the living conditions are often awful. Women - I don't know about men, sorry - will have to walk miles and miles in the desert and scorching heat just to collect some jars of water. Pretty sure this doesn't go on the men's part, I'm assuming the man either tends fields (although, from what I've read, it's usually the women who do this), or go to school/work (a privilege). Women often have to get circumcised and cut in those countries too, but the men don't. Quite traumatic for little girls, in the Maasai tribe they do it once the girls reach puberty. Apparently they do it so that the men can control the women sexually, which tbh sounds horrid to me. It's nice to know things are changing, like Kakenya Ntaiya, who opened a school for little boys and girls.

Feminism is for women to have the same (if not better) RIGHTS as men. That's it. RIGHTS. The responsibilities and other things can go to hell, and the disadvantages men have can go to hell too. The feminism you're thinking about CANNOT be fair in a gynocentric society; it's simply not possible; and feminism isn't trying to destroy that. Quite the opposite. See the #metoo movement and its "solutions" to the various problems it is about( >"men don't even have the right to stay away from women in order to avoid false accusations because it would inconvenient to women, so just shut up and suck it up if you get a false rape accusation, your sacrifice is necesary for women to be safer while keeping all of their comfort"). THIS is what feminism is about. Not equality. Just the good parts, or even BETTER parts than the men when it comes to some things like the law as a whole (what people here call a pussy pass, which is incredibly common), etc. Feminism is openly defending the idea of drunk sex with a woman being "rape". How does this works when it comes to equality? Where's the accountability for women's actions in this? The laughable part is that feminism is supposed to be "empowering" women; but this kind of things shows that it's definitely infantilizing them instead. The "strong woman" need the male to be there to take care of her even if she's the one initiating sex when she's wasted because she's not held responsible of her own actions. She needs a man to supervise her. How is this about equality or empowerment? And sadly enough this apply quite often in different contexts, too.

A lot of people here are for equal right, equal lefts (although it also implies things like accepting to be disadvantaged when it comes to some things like getting a job compared to a man, since a non-sterile woman is at risk of getting pregnant and having to be replaced/not being able to do some parts of her job properly anymore, which is a problem and makes her way less attractive than a similar male worker; and just try to make people defending this kind of "equality" accept a contract forbidding them to have children while they work here. Being held to the same standard as a male despite this is already a privilege by itself). But what feminists are fighting for right now is NOT equality, and particularly not a pragmatic equality. Having the same rights doesn't mean "having the same everything", and feminism has never been about the second one. And it's even worse nowadays because of 3rd wave feminism turning the whole idea into a joke, at least the first two waves were somewhat better compared to this..... "thing" that even women should find disgusting.

Read some things about the women-are-wonderful effect as well, it'll give you an idea on why this deal is flawed to begin with. Woman always had some huge advantages even when they didn't have these "rights" feminists are talking about, even when they weren't not codified into the law. Not taking this kind of phenomenon into account makes this idea of equality flawed in the first place.
