This is what happens when women complain about gender pay gap or lack of opportunity. Both have been debunked. It was explained that bc women chose different jobs that pay far less. They have PHDs in bullshit and make the argument that they get paid less. You have non medical doctors complaining they don't get paid as much as surgeons for example. Men go into STEM fields and make a ton of money. In America they're trying to push women in to those same fields. The reality is women don't want to do these jobs. It baffles me that even amongst men people will complain about opportunity and money but won't put themselves in a position to get paid more. It's like the WNBA vs NBA argument. A whole league of lesser skilled professionals complaining about getting paid less than higher skilled men.

Yes women are really pampered into the tech field.

And for me, even those actually employed for their competence into tech (they are rare but exist) have been hard for me to respect.

Why do these women have Instagram accounts where they post pictures of themselves almost nude in front of their computer, along with a post about the current coding or programming project they are involved in?

I have seen exactly this two times now...

I am from India and I am sick and tired of the admissions and recruitment which is happening here.

I enrolled in Mechanical engineering and freaking 33% of the seats are reserved for women in my state. The cut off of my college was 92 percentile for men and 47 percentile for women. These fucktards can't even handle the physical work load in machine shop practicals which consisted of using Lathe, milling, drilling and welding machines to create work pieces for practicals. Along with doing actual smithy workshop. This translated to college putting in guys and girls into groups with each group consisting of 2 guys and 1 girl and obviously guys had to do the work as you were given marks based on the final finish of workpiece and everyone was damn competent except these foolish ones who used to laze around during practicals of fluid mechanics and machine design and would fail exams year after year and would eventually graduate in 5,6 years.

I had less troubles during my recruitment in industrial sector as businesses don't give a fuck about women in manufacturing sector and eventually end up hiring all guys.

I enrolled for a masters program in Business and women made up around 50% of the batch and their were diversity marks (5 marks to be precise) for women. Obviously if you are gunning for top 50 programs in the country each mark matters and these fools ended up taking up half of the batch even though they lacked many basic parameters like low Grad scores, abysmal aptitude and marginally lower entrance exam scores. And the application percentage to these masters program is 75% men and 25% women but women end up taking half of the class strength.

Don't even get me started with the diversity hiring happening at the moment.

You all Westerners need to understand one thing, ITS THE SAME EVERYWHERE! Just because we live in a different society and have cultural differences doesn't entitle Easterners for any good. This is a age of internet, you say anything, anywhere about any bs, it gets justified by everyone in this day and age.

I have seen sexism at its peak in schools and colleges, work place? It's literally fucked over here with making female employees work less, not just less, less risky, less hard work without any responsibility. Sounds like anywhere else.

The religion, culture and patriarchy cannot stop these liberals. Liberals are good for the most part or other things, I'm not denying it, but this is beyond repair.

All this really does it devalue the few real female engineers at google, however few there are. I live about 30 minutes from Google in the SF bay area, and if I met a chick that said she was a developer at google at this point, I'd have to just assume shes a diversity hire and worthless. 15 years ago I would have thought she was a fucking genius.

GAP (Clothing Brand) does the same in India. The recruiters are mostly women. They hire almost exclusively only female "engineers". There is zero engineering work going on in the offices. They get paid handsomely to just party and fuck the few luck dudes who managed to get hired.
