If I had money to burn, it might be fun to take a women's studies course. When the professors tell me "you wouldn't get it because you're not a woman", I'd just say "so you're telling me that you can't even explain successfully what you're paid to teach? Isn't that the entire point of being a professor...to teach people things?"

I mean, is there another job for which a women's studies degree qualifies you other than teaching women's studies? And aren't all of those positions currently filled by people with other degrees?

There is absolutely no practical use for women's studies besides statistical or historical jobs, and those are always better served with degrees in statistics or history.

But besides a select few scientific, technical, and medical degrees, the university system is a complete waste of time anyway. Nothing says "come spend an insane amount of money to be brainwashed and become unemployable" like women's studies.
