If you're talking about the Switch/3ds/vita then sorry to say but even those platforms have day 1 updates or dlc content etc. Though I'd agree that they have it a lot less often than consoles and PCs (but why get a console besides ps4 when that system is pretty much perfected by steam)

To be honest, you have to be pretty mature just to get through these games and figure them out. If I was 14 years old, I wouldn’t have a fucking clue how to navigate through 3/4 of these games.
Don't underestimate the tenacity of an ADD kid who wants to play video games. When I was five, I carried a TV set the same size as myself up a flight of stairs, one step at a time, because I didn't want to wait until my parents finished eating dinner to play.
As an eight year old, I couldn't find some of the clues that were supposed to tell you the combination to certain locks. I wanted to continue progressing though, so I brute forced them. I spent hours trying every single permutation until I eventually found the answer.

As I see it, you're both right.
On the one hand, there absolutely are those who frequent TRP who fervently believe the only worthwhile pursuit in life is smashing pussy 24/7, and any activity one might engage in that doesn't directly further that pursuit is time wasted on useless shit. Once you've been there a while you learn to recognize the pussy hounds for what they are and engage with or ignore them as you see fit.
On the other hand, as you stated, TRP isn't a solution, it's a toolbox, and you get out of it what you put in. Personally, I'm content with knowing I have the means to get out there and fuck Jennifer should the urge strike me, so I don't feel bad staying home and firing up Mount&Blade instead if that's what I really want to do.

What many of us here question is, are the efforts worth the benefits? Or in other words what is the cost to benefit ratio for most people?

I think most of us have noticed it. I came for the deeper meaning. I thoroughly enjoy the posts about men's philosophy. Their journey how they improved. The asktrp PUA questions were mostly kept there. The reason why I still recommend it is because it's better to have tools and options over nothing.
But, at the end of the day. Everyone that is here, should be utilizing all of it to enhance their lives. There shouldn't even be another reaction. I'm not taking about the juice ain't worth the squeeze and everything else. Just the concepts of you found this place and you can use it to help build you up. The rest are just skills, experiences and assets you built along the way.

Never understood this desire for everyone to have their "thing" get recognized or to be liked. Popularity/awareness invariably ruins everything it touches. I haven't been a teenager for longer than it took me to become one, and I still haven't changed...

You'd think it would be common sense to try to establish why someone hadn't been online before assuming it's deliberate and targeted at you. Although sometimes when someone is giving one word answers every 4 days, you have to just assume they've started ghosting for no reason, and leave it at that.

Women basically do nothing but hang out on Facebook and look at shit content, or look at their orbiters.
