When technology became widespread enough for women to see rich and famous men from around the world, the definition of "good guy" changed to "whoever is rich and famous at the moment". Women feel like they are settling if they don't get someone like that. This puts most men at an instant disadvantage.

I think the problem is that people say a "good" guy is one that is a provider and is willing to do everything for his women. That old "happy wife happy life" bs. Well just because men aren't bending over and backwards for women doesn't mean they aren't good guys. Guys just realize the juice isn't worth the squeeze anymore. Laws are too fucking tilted in women's favor. Society says to cater to women or your a misogynist. Guys notice this and realize it does nothing for them. It gets them laughed at, ridiculed, dragged across mud, and has their children taken from them. Men have started to wake up and realize that they don't need to do this anymore. We can just go our own way. Women can go do whatever the fuck they want to do, just leave us out of it. Don't label us or judge us as misogynists. We realize it's a bad deal and are going our own way.

We will star too see a pattern emerge regarding families and wealth. The highly dysfunctional "One absent man, many incompetent women, lots of kids, lots of poverty" model is resulting in broken and poor families who will have to compete with intact and wealthier families.

Wealth is multi-generational. Study Jewish and some Asian families and there is a strong pattern than come from them. Jews came to the US in poverty and would eventually do what they can to start a business of some kind and raise their kids with the business as a unit. Those kids would frequently grow up to then dramatically expand the business and making it a thriving family enterprise. Their children would now have a nearly lifetime assurance of a place to work for an income or they would have so many resources thrown at them that they can achieve a much higher quality of education, live in a home owned by the family rent free.

We live in a pluralistic society. While some people are going for the generation after generation of dysfunction, poverty, and constantly starting other, other groups are going at it differently where they are building a multi generational wealth machine.

One group pays taxes and one group collects welfare. But likewise only one group can afford to live at Newport Beach, San Francisco, NYC and the other has to live in Detroit or some slum town in the middle of nowhere.

It is just alpha-beta male dynamics. My father is a great example of an alpha male: 3 sets of kids (four total with 3 women), endless ex-wives, girlfriends, flings. My step-father is a perfect example of a beta male: married once, maintains my physically and mentally unstable mother into old age because, you know, "duty", had two kids, raised one that was not his knowingly, in fact that was his "in" with her as she found that very attractive that he was willing to help a single mother with her child, unsurprising.

What women want from an alpha: genes and service, rarely get the latter because the alpha can drop her like a candy wrapper for another candy, in response women have whined and cried to government to get all sorts of laws to increase their chances of bleeding alphas dry.

What women want from a beta: service, will tolerate having one a two children in exchange, in return he must be a good little drone, cuckold, and she can even drop him for better if she can while still bleeding him dry thanks to all those laws.

The Alpha strategy genetically is twice as successful as the Beta by my personal observation. But both strategies I have personally seen lead to misery in life, in fact I have yet to personally see either strategy lead to happiness, EVER.

MGTOW's whole goal is to escape being a beta, alpha, escape all the gene transmission schemes of life. Being an Alpha is really a matter of how good you look and how much resources you have (that she thinks she can get), the former you can't do much about, the latter is irrelevant as well because fuck giving her your stuff! MGTOW teaches that attracting women is irrelevant and even counter-productive to achieving happiness in life, that children (though forcing purpose to life via now your life is all about raising another human) will more often than not bring unhappiness in life, instead self-purpose must be found, not meaning through women or their wombturds, but meaning from ones self. MGTOW is basically a self made zeta male, zeta being free from needing or playing any kind of mating scheme.

I know a Chad who has six children from four different women. He does not have a high school diploma and has never held down a job for more than a week. There wouldn't really be a point in him working anyway because the state will take every dollar he earns for the rest of his life for child support. Your theory only stands if being "provider" or "lover" is somehow genetically passed down on children. And it's not. So son of "lover" raised by single mom will become good guy since she will imprint that great romcom wisdom on him. And as far as I see generations of men after us are gonna suck.. You will more likely not have any "lovers" only "providers" trained from young age, and we can only hope they would someday realize how things truly are.
