I'm so happy to read that he got it back and even more happy that she's getting what she deserves for her part in this. Impala's are very hard to come by these days. My dad had one when I was a kid and I remember those things being tanks. Some lady rear ended him once. The bumper had a scratch and her entire front end had caved in.

Even this is a stock 283 V8, it's still a classic, unblelievable someone would sell a car that doesn't belong to them

. Looks like a re-spray, could have removed the badges,, so there's no telling how big the engine is.

If this is a 327 or bigger OEM engine that alone is worth some cash, as long as it's not frozen.
