I'm a 20 yr old male currently apart from my once ldr girlfriend in Scotland. She's been going through a lot where I've had to be there for her but we were finally able to agree to take time to become independent of each other. She is probably one of the most mature people I know (male or female) and this independence thing has made her even more woke. She said it's me or no one and she doesn't care either way she'll be happy alone. At one point she had actually decided to just stay alone. She's a nurse and wants to spend her life helping others and focusing on what makes her happy. Definitely a woman GTOW if that was a thing. She hates the idea of bringing kids into this world. Also could care less about the ring, money, status, home. I know you guys may say I'm still naive. But she's currently getting nothing out of me, hasn't gotten much for over a year and a half. She's my best friend who I have sex with. She doesn't need or want anyone (male or female) to sit there and hold her hand.

Anyways, goal is to keep doing this independent thing while living in different countries or really until we have the opportunity to live in the same city. Even then we'll keep priority on independence. I think it will work out. If not, it doesn't matter though which is the best part, and we'll definitely always be friends. Idk, I've definitely found a unicorn.
