The first time I told my wife that I would call the police on her for being physically abusive she responded by saying, "The police are going to believe me before they believe you."

After that I took pictures, recorded video, recorded audio, saved texts, and wrote down many of the future events to follow.

Not that it was something to my knowledge when we got married but she was an illegal immigrant for a number of years before we met. As such, she has a fear of the police and government in a way that has thankfully worked to my advantage. She won't even get a lawyer for our divorce. She's doing it herself.

I have been through crap but thankfully I should be able to get through my divorce in one piece.

my buddies Ex gf's mom, who is also a crazy cunt just like her daughter, was slowly skimming money off the dude she was married to, and keeping it in the wall. One day he comes home to a bunch of cops not letting him in his own house, while his crazy wife keeps screaming how she doesn't feel safe around him, while cutting money out of the walls, packing her shit in the car and driving away. There were like 8 cops there, all focused on keeping him out of the house, while she was literally cutting cash out of the wall and bailing. They didn't even bat an eye at her behavior, all because she said "I don't feel safe around him". They're all fucking insane and will craft ways to fuck you over before you even realize it. And they will do it with a smile on their face, and zero repercussions.
